Construction on the new Hyatt Regency Stonebriar in Frisco is at its midpoint; The 303-room hotel is scheduled to be complete by the end of spring 2020. Hyatt Regency Stonebriar will include a conference center with a grand ballroom, a junior ballroom and breakout spaces.

Grand Park, located west of the Dallas North Tollway between Stonebrook Parkway and Cotton Gin Road, has been dormant for years by pending permit approval by the Army Corps of Engineers and the cleanup of Stewart Creek that runs through the area where the Exide Battery Recycling location was once located.
Nikugen Steak & Ramen opens restaurant in Frisco. Nikugen Steak & Ramen opened in late February 2019 at 4710 Preston Road, Ste. 300. The Japanese restaurant serves traditional dishes, such as ramen and hibachi entrees. Beverages including beer, wine, and sake.
Reminder, the Frisco 2019 General Election is scheduled for Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 7:00 a.m to 7:00 p.m. The General Election will be for the election of two City Council Members: Council Member Place 2 and Council Member Place 4.
Frisco ISD School Board Election. The Frisco ISD Board of Trustees election will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019. Polls will be open on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at locations in Collin and Denton counties. You must be a Frisco ISD resident and registered voter in order to participate. Collin County voters may vote at any location in Collin County. Denton County voters must vote at the location in Denton County associated with their precinct.
