Pre-listing, is your home properly prepared to compete?

How much your home is worth? When it comes to pricing, you can’t rely on estimator websites to give you an accurate value. Those sites don’t have data about what homes are selling for in your neighborhood or how your kitchen remodel affects your price.
Are you prepared to market the home yourself? Real Estate Agents are not going to make an active effort to sell your home to their buyers! (Photos, Flyers, Postcards, Signage, Window Sticker, Websites). Many buyers will NOT see your home online!
Are you free to show your home? If you do attract potential buyers, you’ll have to keep a flexible schedule to juggle showings. Don’t forget about the safety concerns associated with letting strangers into your home…..are they really buyers or thieves?
Ahhh,…the paperwork-do you know Texas Real Estate Contracts in and out?
Are you very familiar with the offer, the inspection process, the appraisal hurdle, pre-closing…when do you move out…post-closing?
Do you know what a strong offer and weak offer look like?
Offers: What is your estimated seller’s net?
What about the experienced agent who tries to take you to the cleaners? Who is on your side to help protect perhaps your most valuable asset? Or what about a crappy and unprofessional agent?
Can you avoid legal problems? Real estate transactions are complex, and legal issues come up frequently. One small mistake on your part could cost you big, whether it’s because you’ll lose money or end up in a lawsuit. Who is your real estate agent and attorney advocate?
